Biography
Born in Juncos, Puerto Rico in 1958, José Marcano is a contemporary artist seeking
for new means of communication.During
his years as a professional and commercial photographer José Marcano has covered everything from illustration photography to fashion. At an early age, he used sculpture
as an expression of his feelings succesfully.
Today he picks up where he left off and
began painting again. Using oil and canvas he creates a journal of experiences in life size. Abstract in nature with insinuating titles,
the flamboyant paintings evoke erotism and passion on themselves.
